Professional snowboarders from around the world tested out a nine-story tall ramp in East River Park.
The 90-foot mini-mountain - built for daredevil snowboarders - towers over East River Park for the city's annual celebration of snow and sports: Winter Jam NYC.
Top snowboarders like Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, Pat Moore and Travis Rice braved the sub-freezing temperature for a chance at $100,000.
Winter Jam NYC also features a 70-foot-long snow flume for tubing, as well as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and a snowman-making contest.
The 'snowscraper' was sponsored by Red Bull energy drin
